 Review 

Alright I admit it, going into this movie I was a skeptic. I mean anyone can tell this was one of those majority-of-the-movie-shot-in-one-room type thing (Money Monster anyone); However the trailer intrigued me enough to pull up a chair and give it a watch.

 Minutes into the movie we see Sam ( Sean Faris) coming home to find out that his wife is cheating on him, in his house, in his bed, on their anniversary and understandably the guy loses his marbles. Now, right off the bat I must say that Sean Faris was bloody fantastic! His movements, inflection, facial expressions....everything, his performance will draw you in and his command of the movie is nothing short of mesmerizing as it holds the movie to standard, keeping it from becoming just another movie whose low budget dragged down an other wise cleverly written script. After discovering what is going on, Sam promptly gets his firearms, and bursts in on his wife Ashley ( Danielle Savre) and fellow adulterer Damien (Mehcad Brooks) and holds them at gun point. Toying with his pain as he continues to interrogate, degrade and humiliate them as he decides whether to kill them or not.

Forced to confront the consequences of their actions, we watch as Damien and Ashley's mental states deteriorate and they break down as they deal with their pain, their pasts, and the pain they have inflicted on their spouses; as Sam threatens them with the moral and biblical repercussions he feels entitled to exact on them. This thriller then concludes into a psychological twist that leaves viewers to decipher which turn of events were real and fate of Ashley and Damien at Sam's hands.

All in all, Adulterers is a great movie. A psychologically deep thriller that is worth breaking out your wallet for some hot buttered popcorn.
